Thief Breaks Into Hair Salon, Steals Curlers
Maybe the perpetrator was having a bad hair day.
The owner of a hair salon on Rockbridge Road called police Nov. 12 to report a break-in that left a big mess but only one item missing.
Angela Carlisle stated forced entry was made into Jay's Destiny Salon in Stone Mountain from two separate places sometime between 6:15 and 10 p.m., damaging a door jam and destroying drywall that covered a window.
Police said the only thing missing from the business was a curling iron set. "There are no known suspects, no witnesses, and no crime scene," Officer R.M. Kolkebeck wrote in an incident report.
