Stone Mountain Driver Injured in Vermont Crash

The man was trapped inside his vehicle for several hours.

A man from Stone Mountain is recovering in a Vermont hospital from multiple injuries after his tractor-trailer flipped over, crashed through a guardrail and went over an embankment, state police said. 

Willie Barnfield, 49, who has injuries to his head, arm and knee, recalled having brake problems before the wreck. It happened around 2:50 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 7 on Route 9 near Notch Road in Bennington, Boston.com reported.

Barnfield was trapped inside the vehicle for several hours due to the position in which it landed.
