Lithonia Homeowner Shoots Break-in Suspects

The incident happened on Donna Way, where two of the three suspects allegedly were breaking in when the homeowner shot them.

Two teenagers who authorities say tried to break into a house in Lithonia on Monday were shot by the homeowner, and a third suspect who attempted to flee the scene was caught by police.

The incident happened on Donna Way, where two of the three suspects -- ages 15 and 14 -- allegedly were breaking in when the homeowner, 21, shot them, according to a Fox Atlanta report. A third suspect, 15, had been in a getaway car.

A neighbor called 911. Fox Atlanta says the teens were taken to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston.
