$25 Mammograms, Free Cancer Screenings

DeKalb Medical's 2013 Annual Cancer Awareness Day on Saturday, October 5 will feature free comprehensive cancer screenings as well as the latest information on early detection and treatment of cancer.


  • Free prostate cancer screenings
  • Free skin cancer screenings 
  • Reduced-cost mammograms with clinical breast exams ($25 includes a mammogram, clinical breast exam and radiology fee) are being offered as well as 
  • Free blood pressure checks and 
  • Varicose vein screenings. 

The reduced-cost mammograms and clinical breast exams are available from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. All other screenings are from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Appointments are required. Call 404.501.WELL to register.
