Stonecrest Livable Centers Plan Ready
The public is invited to check out the plan this month.
A draft of the master plan for the Stonecrest Town Center Livable Centers Initiative has been finalized and is ready for viewing by the public.
Organizers are planning two events on Saturday, Aug. 17 to offer residents a look at the plan and to receive feedback. The first is a bicycle tour of proposed improvement areas and the second is a "pop-up" town hall meeting.
This goal is to "enhance the long term economic viability, improve local congestion, create a healthy and safe place for pedestrians and cyclists, and promote easy access to jobs," according to the LCI website.
It all takes place from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Stonecrest Mall, 2929 Turner Hill Road in Lithonia. More info here.
