Million Dollar Lottery Ticket Sold in Stone Mountain

Local man knew he was going to win sooner or later, he says.

A father of four has become a millionaire after playing the Georgia Lottery instant game at a liquor store in Stone Mountain. 

Rodney Caddele, 47, of Snellville, is "ecstatic" after claiming his winnigs this week. “I’ve had a lucky feeling for quite some time,” he said. “I just felt like I knew it was going to happen.”

C & D Package Store, at 6098 Memorial Drive, was where he bought the winning ticket, and Caddele scratched it in his car. “Afterward, I called my wife, and she didn’t believe me. I went to show the clerk, and she screamed.”

First thing on the list is buying new cars for himself and his wife, Ann. “I want to buy a new Range Rover and a Porsche,” Caddele said.
