ReplyI wish this new group well. The parents and community-at-large will have to step up and support this effort. It's not going to be pretty and will tak sacrifice. @bulldogger the systems are already split and segregated, North DeKalb has far many more resources than South DeKalb - that is an ongoing big problem and is the "elephant in the room" where nobody has taken any action. As an example, there is no reason why children in South DeKalb should not have adequate textbooks, but this is the case. That would not happen in Dunwoody. It's beyond ridiculous as these schools are in the same county! This is like the 1950's!

ReplyThey need to clean house on that Board. It's not a question of why, but when. The "why" is staring us in the face via the current situation!
