The blaze broke out Friday night at Stone Park Presidential Apartments.
A stove is the likely cause of a fire that broke out late Friday night at Stone Park Presidential Apartments on Friday. CBS Atlanta News is reporting investigators believe a man was likely using a stove to dry his clothes, light a cigarette or cook when the fire started. One building of the Stone Mountain apartment complex was completely engulfed in flames during the blaze. No one was injured in the fire, which took nearly an hour for firefighters to contain.

The fire, at least the second at the apartment complex this year, was under control by 5:30 p.m. Friday.
Firefighters were at Colony of Stone Mountain apartments Friday afternoon, battling a blaze in a mostly empty, two-storey building, Fox 5 reported. The fire seemed to be under control by 5:30 p.m., according to Channel 2 Action News. The cause of the fire hasn't been determined, Fox 5 said. The building had flooded a few weeks ago and didn't have many residents, people who lived at the complex told Fox 5. It's the second blaze at the apartment complex, located off North Hairston, this year. In April, a fire destroyed eight units and damaged about 16. No one was hurt in that incident.
