The following are local volunteer opportunities and donation needs: Help Needed - Volunteers 1. Hands On Atlanta Day is this Saturday, Oct. 6. Here are some schools and organizations in Stone Mountain and Lithonia that could use some help that day (click on the links below for information on signing up): Allgood Elementary, 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Woodridge Elementary, 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Stephenson Middle, 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Arabia Mountain Nature Preserve, 9 a.m.-1 p.m. 2.
