Updated 6:43 a.m. 12/12/12: Patch received an e-mail from Jerry Bedrin of the Bedrin Organization, which owns the Memorial Bend Shopping Center, stating that due to meetings with several prospective tenants and county officials today it will be too "tight" to hold a formal gathering with citizens concerned about the Publix leaving the center next month. However, he wrote, he is "happy to speak w interested neighbors on my cell" which is 201-803-7113. just left shopping there today it was bittersweet. one thing I feel good about is the cashier I had told me that they (Publix Corp) made sure there was a job for each and everyone before they deiced to close that location. No one is loosing work that awesome. more ›
