DeKalb Sunday Alcohol Sales Start Today

The measure passed in March.

No more running to the store on Saturday night. Sunday alcohol sales in DeKalb County kick off today. The measure passed in March (the City of Stone Mountain has allowed Sunday sales for a few months). Stores can sell beer, wine and other alcoholic drinks seven days a week now if they choose to do so. Some businesses are advertising Sunday sales, like the package store pictured, at the corner of Redan and S. Hairston roads. Tell Patch: Are Sunday alcohol sales a good or bad thing for DeKalb County? Write your thoughts in the comment section below.
