Who's Hiring: Legal Assistant Wanted

Some of the local job openings this week.

A legal Administrative Assistant is needed at Phyllis Williams, attorney. Advantage Sales and Marketing is looking for an Event Specialist. A freelance gig at a design firm is open for a four-day stint at the end of May. A Production Technician position is open at DeKalb Regional Healthcare. Macy's needs someone to "receive, putaway, pick, pack and ship merchandise in a safe, productive and accurate manner."

Shop Pink in Stone Mountain and Lithonia to Benefit Breast Cancer Awareness

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, which means a variety of pink products will be hitting the shelves. But, do your pink purchases always go towards the cause?

A wave of pink is flooding stores everywhere, as retailers participate in Breast Cancer Awareness Month. For the savvy shopper, it's an opportunity to donate to a good cause while snagging unique, pink-hued items. Rue 21, for example, is donating a portion of its Breast Cancer Awareness merchandise to the Glimmer of Hope Foundation. There is a Rue 21 on Stone Mountain Highway and one in the Mall at Stonecrest. Macy's, also located at Mall at Stonecrest, says it "gives back to causes devoted to awareness, education and research in the fight against breast cancer."
