A grocery store is coming back to the Salem Crossing Shopping Center: Food Depot is moving into Save Rite's old spot. According to an article on Business Wire, in 2005 some 257 selected Winn-Dixie and Save Rite supermarkets began closing in several southern states, including Georgia. In the same shopping center is Family Dollar, which is on a growth spurt. Publix is down the street at 3045 Panola Rd.
