An armed robbery suspect demanded money from the register and took off with the items he placed on the counter, including body wash. According to the DeKalb county incident report, the suspect came into the store around 9:15 a.m. on Feb. 17. He shopped for various items, then placed them on the counter. As the employee rang up the Axe Body Wash, Newport cigarettes and Rite Aid Body Wash, the suspect pulled back his jacket and revealed a brown handle of what seemed to be a firearm hidden in the front right side of his pants, the incident report states. Inside the police reports: The suspect may have been a customer in the past, a restaurant employee told police.
A customer at the Waffle House at 1945 Rockbridge Rd. started cursing at another patron, then took off without paying his bill, according to Gwinnett county police. Police reported to the theft of services and disorderly conduct call at the restaurant in unincorporated Stone Mountain in Gwinnett county just after 4:30 a.m. on Feb. 16. The complainant told police that she was speaking with a group of people when the man, dressed in a gray denim hat, jacket and pants, got up from his table and started cursing at her, according to the incident report. Inside the police reports: Two people were taken into custody in the Feb. 3 incident, according to DeKalb county police.
Two carjacking suspects were apprehended by DeKalb county police earlier this month, on the same day they allegedly stole a car that wouldn't start without help from the victim. The incident happened Feb. 3 in the 4600 block of Weyburn Lane in unincorporated Stone Mountain. The victim, of Snellville, was preparing his deceased father's home for rent by cleaning out the home and the garage, where he said two males approached around 11:25 a.m. The first suspect pointed a handgun at him and demanded his wallet, the incident report states. The victim said it was in the car, a red 1999 Volkswagon Jetta. The person tried to charge an additional $150, but the transaction was declined, according to the police report.
A woman in Gilbert, AZ told Gwinnett county police that someone charged an unauthorized transaction from the TJ Maxx store on Stone Mountain Highway to her bank account. The woman's bank notified her about the suspicious charges on Feb. 1, according to the police report. When she pulled up the online information, she saw the TJ Maxx charge of $118.01. A second transaction of $150 at the store was declined, the report states. The woman's bank said it would issue a provisional deposit for $118.01 to her account. The account was closed and a different card would be issued.

An armed suspect fired a shot as he robbed a woman getting out of her vehicle in unincorporated Stone Mountain on Dec. 9 according to a DeKalb County incident report. The incident occurred in the 2500 block of Treehills Parkway, at the Reserve at Stonecreek Apartments where the victim lives. She told police as she was getting out of her car an unknown black male put his foot in the door and pointed a gun at her face, around 2:25 a.m. The suspect told her to to give him everything she had, then fired the gun into her car one time, close to her face, she said. There was one arrest made following the incident on Sept. 14, according to a DeKalb County police report.
When a delivery man was robbed by the people who called in an order for pizzas and chicken wings, he decided to take matters into his own hands and pursue the suspects to Redan Middle School, even after one of them brandished a gun. According to the DeKalb County police report, the incident on Friday, Sept. 14 began when the employee from the Pizza Hut at 1130 S. Hairston Rd. in unincorporated Stone Mountain delivered $35 worth of take-out at 4:15 p.m. to a home on 5700 block of Dorian Ct., a vacant residence in unincorporated Lithonia. The victim of theft by deception tells DeKalb County police he dropped off clothes at a dry cleaning service, but when he came back to get them - the business and his clothes were gone.
A man wanted to take advantage of a deal at a dry cleaning business on S. Hairston Rd. Instead, the dry cleaner allegedly took off with his clothes and money, he told DeKalb County police. According to the police report, the man said he dropped off eleven pieces of clothing at an "unknown cleaners" at 2071 S. Hairston on August 9, lured by the dry cleaner's special of "11 pieces for only $18.95." He also paid for the clothes that day, he told police. The address for the cleaners listed in the police report is near the unincorporated Stone Mountain line into unincorporated Decatur, close to Covington Highway. March 17 incident happened at a Chevron in nearby Lithonia.

A woman told DeKalb County police that she was sitting in her vehicle around 9 p.m. March 17 at the Chevron Station in the 5900 block of Covington Highway in Lithonia when the suspect, the front passenger of an older model green Ford Explorer, opened his door. In doing so, he struck the front passenger side of her vehicle, she told police. The victim said she rolled down her window and told the suspect that he may have caused damage to her door. The victim said that suspect became irate and pulled out a black semi-automatic handgun; he pulled the slide back and pointed it at her.
