Home Invaders Bind Victim, Take Electronics, Gun

According to the DeKalb county police report, the incident happened March 6 in unincorporated Lithonia.

  Three men bound a resident in unincorporated Lithonia with duct tape, then took his electronics, money and gun during an armed robbery at a home in the 5500 block of Salem Road in unincorporated Lithonia, according to a DeKalb county police report. The incident occurred March 6 between 1:50-2:32 p.m., according to the incident report. The victim told police he was in his bedroom when he heard a knock at the door. No one was there, so he went back to his bedroom, the report states. As he was trying to fall asleep, the victim said a man he didn't know, described as a black make with medium length dreadlocks and wearing all black, came into his bedroom, armed with a hand gun. Home Invasion Suspects Told Victim They Would Return

In the Jan. 12 incident, the suspects said they'd be back after discovering the victim only had $18.

Two home invasion suspects told their victim that they would be back after bursting into his house in the 4000 block of Cedar Ridge Trail and looking around for more than the $18 he had. The incident happened Jan. 12 around 5:30 p.m. in unincorporated Stone Mountain, according to the DeKalb County police report. The victim told police he was sitting on his couch watching television when he heard "a loud bang come from the front door." He turned to find the first suspect pointing a gun at him. After going upstairs, the suspect pushed the victim to the floor, held the gun to his head and demanded money, the report states. The victim said he had no money.
