Jaguars, Pirates Join Forces
Stephenson, Stone Mountain juniors showcase football talent
Senior football players from Stone Mountain high schools made their presence felt recently in the DeKalb County Coaches Senior All-Star game at Hallford Stadium in Clarkston. Saturday, it's the juniors' turn. Six players from Stephenson and two from Stone Mountain are scheduled to join forces on the East squad against the West in the Georgia Junior Bowl, a showcase game for 100 of the state's top junior football players at Hallford on Saturday at 1 p.m. Of each team's 50 players chosen among juniors state-wide, the East squad boasts 14 from DeKalb, including Stephenson's Jarontay Jones.
