News Nearby: One Person Reported Shot at South DeKalb Mall During Attempted Carjacking

Reports are the person was shot in the neck in the Candler Road mall parking lot on Friday night.

DeKalb County Police are investigating a shooting at The Gallery at South DeKalb mall that left one person injured on Friday night. Several news outlets reported that one person was shot in the neck in the Candler Road mall parking lot during an attempted carjacking. Police have not released the victim’s name or condition.
