A man was carjacked in his driveway on Sunday, Jan. 6 in unincorporated Stone Mountain, according to a DeKalb County police incident report. The incident happened in the 1200 block of Whitney Place around 11:35 p.m. The victim told police that he came outside and started rummaging through the trunk of his car, which was parked in his driveway. A suspect came up to him and placed an unknown hard object in the victim's side, he told police. The victim said he suspected it was a gun. The suspect demanded the victim's car keys and wallet, the report states. The victim handed over both.
