The festival will be two days instead of one, and go all the way down Main Street to James B. Rivers Drive.
The Blue Grassroots Music & Arts Festival in the city of Stone Mountain is expanding. The showcase of bluegrass music and artists' creativity will be two days -- March 23 and 24 -- instead of one, as it's been for three years. Also, rather than concentrating the activities in the center of Stone Mountain Village, the festival will extend all the way down to James B. Rivers Drive near the Village Corner German Restaurant. Kids could bungee jump, bounce in the bouncy houses, and take train rides in a small train just their size. Restaurants in the village and outdoor food vendors served up lunch, snacks, and much-needed beverages on the warm day. Adults and children learned barn dances and other jigs at workshops throughout the day. Artists and artisans showed …
