Weekend Planner: Star Wars Party, Outdoor Movie

There will be plenty to do in and around Stone Mountain over this scorching weekend.

1.What: Summer of Star Wars Party When: Saturday, June 30, 2-4 p.m. Where: Hairston Crossing Library, 4911 Redan Rd., Stone Mountain, 30088. Why go: Not since Dragon*Con or Halloween has there been the perfect opportunity to dress up as your favorite Star Wars character. There will even be a costume contest at this event, so make your costume shine! You can get your picture taken with a Stormtrooper and make an origami Yoda, too. This event is for families. 2. Weekend Planner: Live Music, Car Show, Farmer's Market

Free, live music returns to Stone Mountain Village this Saturday, as well as the second classic car show of the season. There's a women's health conference (it's in Dunwoody, but the issue is so important, it bears mentioning here) and the first farmers market in nearby Clarkston.
