Anna's Linens at 7300 Stonecrest Concourse in Lithonia near the mall is expanding into a neighboring suite. The wall separating the two spaces is down and work crews are preparing the new area. Look out for a grand opening sometime in April, a manager told Patch. Anna's Linens opened a store last April in Stone Mountain Square shopping center, on the Gwinnett county side of Stone Mountain. Anna's Linens, based in Costa Mesa, California, also has a store at 5211 Memorial Drive.

Big Lots has found a home on Stone Mountain Highway where Staples used to be. The Columbus, Ohio-based close-out retailer's black lettering and bright orange exclamation point are up, as is a "Now Hiring" sign out front. Staples closed Dec. 31 after about 12 years at the location, 5370 Stone Mountain Highway in Stone Mountain Square. Anna's Linens, which has a location at 5211 Memorial Drive in Stone Mountain, is also moving in at the other end of the Stone Mountain Square strip.
