Stone Mountain Park

Stone Mountain Park is an outdoor and indoor entertainment complex that is fun for the entire family. TheMore five-square-mile park is home to attractions, entertainment and recreational activities, including hiking, fishing, cable car rides, a "ride the ducks" tour, a laser show, an indoor gaming room, train rides, mini and standard golf, a 4D movie theater, live entertainment throughout the year, and a campground where you can hook up an RV or pitch a tent. There are two hotels within the park, full-service and quick-service restaurants, concession stands, and shops that sell souvenirs, gifts and artisan products. The park welcomes groups and private parties, like school trips, corporate events, weddings and family reunions.
Dekalb County Parks Services Division, East Services Center

The East Services Center of the Dekalb County Parks and Recreation Department maintains the county's parks east ofMore I-285 to Arabia Mountain. The center's employees are in charge of mowing, repairing fences, picnic tables, pavilions, bleachers and gates, and pruning trees, among other things. 

Located just off Stone Mountain Lithonia Road, the service center abuts Wade-Walker Park, but it is not accessible from the park.

Stone Mountain City Hall

City Hall is located in the historic train depot on Main Street, along with the municipal court and the policeMore department. According to the city, the depot is the oldest structure burned by General Sherman in the Civil War that is still used.

The city council holds its regular business meeting every first Tuesday of the month at 7:30pm in the court room. Its working session is held every third Tuesday of the month at 6pm.
