Cedar Village Animal Clinic, the first of the Village Vets practices, was opened in 1980 by Dr. Steven Soloway. Drs. Tyler and Draper purchased the practice on March 8, 2000, and moved the practice to its present location in October 2007. The practice name was changed to The Village Vets of Lilburn-Stone Mountain at that time because it is located on the boundary of the two cities. The Village Vets also have locations in Decatur and Buckhead in the Atlanta area.
