Pine Ridge was founded in 1988 as the first school on Stephenson Road, not far from where both Stephenson Middle School and Stephenson High School now stand. Pine Ridge, which serves children from pre-k through fifth grade, added a wing in 2005, an expansion that reflects the community's growth.
