Weekender: Movies on Main, Park Events, Refugee Day
A few things going this weekend around Stone Mountain and Lithonia.
Join fellow walkers and advocates to train for the Atlanta Two-Day Walk for Breast Cancer which takes place on October 5-6, 2013. This month's walk will be a 5-10 mile route through Stone Mountain Park. Saturday, June 22 at 8 a.m. Don't worry if you haven't signed up yet - training walks are open to all. 'Hotel For Dogs' is this month's Movies on Main pick on Saturday, June 22. Gates open at 7 p.m. It starts at sundown on the lawn in downtown Stone Mountain Village. Bring blankets and chairs.
