Annual Fire Safety Festival Saturday

The event is at Wade Walker Park starting at noon.

DeKalb County today announced the 11th Annual Fire Safety Festival on Saturday, Oct. 5, at Wade Walker Park, 5585 Rockbridge Road from noon to 4 p.m.

Created as a festival the whole family can enjoy, the Fire Safety Festival will feature the Fire Safety House, Fire Rescue vehicles, a caricaturist, a performance by N Da Groove and an appearance by Sparky the Fire Dog.

Attendees will be treated to a drumline performance and fun times on a trackless train and inflatable jumpers. Adults and children can participate in interactive displays and be eligible for door prizes, including bike helmets!
