What's going on in the week ahead:

The DeKalb Board of Education is holding a meeting for the public on Monday, Sept. 9 at 5:45 p.m. at district headquearters in Stone Mountain. 

DeKalb County's Jobs Bus comes by this Tuesday, Sept. 10; 10 a.m. - 4 p.m., St. Vincent De Paul Society, 4871 Memorial Drive, Stone Mountain. 

DeKalb Interim CEO Lee May will deliver the State of Public Safety Address on Sept. 11 at 2 p.m. at DeKalb Public Safety Headquarters, 1950 W. Exchange Place in Tucker.

In high school football on Friday, Sept. 13, it's Arabia Mountain (1-1) vs. Tucker (2-0), Hallford, 7:30 p.m., and Stone Mountain (1-1) at Wesleyan (0-2), 7:30 p.m.
