Monday Essentials: Health Fair, Historic Preservation, Volunteering

DeKalb’s Mobile Career Center, also known as the Jobs Bus, will be stationed at St. Vincent de Paul Society, 4871 Memorial Drive in Stone Mountain, on Tuesday, July 9; 10 a.m.- 4 p.m. 

Learn how you can help change your world and your community by volunteering with Peace Corps, AmeriCorps, and with Literacy Volunteers of America. July 9, from 6 —7 p.m. Sue Kellogg Library, 952 Leon Street, Stone Mountain.

Stone Mountain Village is holding a Historic Preservation Meeting on July 9 at the City Municipal Building on Main Street at 6:30 p.m. 

There is an open lab for job seekers on Thursday, July 11: 10 a.m.—noon at  Stonecrest Library, 3123 Klondike Road, in Lithonia, and on the same day at 1:30—3:30 p.m. at Redan-Trotti Library, 1569 Wellborn Road, Lithonia. 

There is a Community Health Fair Friday, July 12 from 10 a.m. to  2 p.m. at 4900 Lewis Road, Stone Mountain.
