Church Members Clean Up Senior Center
A hundred volunteers spent a day improving a Lithonia senior living facility.
Patch came across this great video of a bunch of volunteers sprucing up a senior care home in Lithonia recently.
Members of the World Mission Society Church of God spent a whole rainy Sunday sprucing up the entire Bruce Street/East DeKalb Senior Living Center.
Deborah Jackson, Mayor of Lithonia, showed up to offer support. "Those small things have the biggest impact," she told the crowd of helpers. "We're very excited and humbled that you came here today."
