DeKalb County Chief Executive Officer Burrell Ellis will host a Hike and Bike Greenspace Tour as part of DeKalb County’s celebration of National County Government Month Saturday, April 16, 9 a.m., at Arabia Mountain High School (staging area), 6610 Browns Mill Road in Lithonia.
CEO Ellis will lead DeKalb County staff and residents through Davidson-Arabia Mountain Nature Reserve, a DeKalb County park comprised of 2,000 acres of granite outcrop, wetlands, pine and oak forests, streams, and a lake, and one of Georgia’s most beautiful greenspaces. The CEO’s Hike and Bike Greenspace Tour is free and open to the public. Pre-registration online at www.dekalbcountyga.gov is encouraged.
