DeKalb Schools' Adapted Sports: Silverstreaks, Eagles hosting three games

Eagles, Silver Streaks hosting wheelchair handball triple header

The DeKalb Silver Streaks and Eagles get back into wheelchair handball action this weekend as the pair host three games at Henderson Middle School on Saturday, Oct. 22.

The junior varsity Eagles (1-2) play host to the undefeated North Fulton YMCA Mustangs (4-0) in the first game set for 11 a.m. The Eagles are coming off a bye week following their 7-3 loss to Muscogee County.

The Mustangs have rolled to the 4-0 record including a home victory of 7-3 over the Eagles to open the season. The Silver Streaks (2-0) put their undefeated mark on the line against their rivals the West Georgia Wolverines (1-0) in a battle of undefeated varsity teams.

The two teams will face off in a double header with the first game set for 1 p.m. and the second for 3 p.m. at Henderson Middle School. Neither team has played since September 24.
