Stone Mountain Fastpitch Softball Star Gets Hit in Baseball
Hadiyah Walker makes a strong start.
Senior Lady Pirate fastpitch softball player Hadiyah Walker switched diamonds this spring earning a pair of starts for the Pirate baseball team.
She collected a hit in two at-bats and a pair of RBI in her first start of the season on March 21 against Washington and went 0-2 against Grady on March 26.
The Pirates are 3-10 on the season. Walker batted .621 (18-29) as a senior for the Lady Pirates including a tie for the county home run lead with four, 12 RBI and four doubles as Stone Mountain finished 4-7 on the season.

She was also selected to the DeKalb County Fastpitch Softball All-Star game last fall.
