Updated: Stone Mountain and Lithonia Residents Interviewed for DeKalb School Board Spots
Gov. Nathan Deal is scheduled to make an announcement today at 11 a.m. naming the people selected.
Among the applicants from Stone Mountain and Lithonia who were interviewed to replace six DeKalb county board of education members are:
- Cassandra Barber, Lithonia
- David Campbell, Lithonia
- Joyce Morley, Stone Mountain
- Thaddeus Mayfield, Lithonia
- Doreen Carter, Lithonia
- Doris Daniels, Lithonia
- Douglas Ealey, Stone Mountain
- Bryce Farbstein, Stone Mountain
- Elizabeth Flournoy, Lithonia
- Rosalind McIntyre, Stone Mountain
- DeNorris Heard, Lithonia
There were 74 people from Stone Mountain and 60 from Lithonia who applied for the seats.
