Which Stone Mountain Schools Made AYP?

Redan, Stone Mountain and Stephenson high schools all made Adequate Yearly Progress; the DeKalb County School System as a whole did not.

The Georgia Department of Education today released its 2011 final determinations on Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP), which are a series of performance goals set by the state.

The department has set up a site where you can look up the individual schools' report.

Of the 136 DeKalb schools, 64, or 47.1 percent, made AYP; but 72 schools, or 52.9 percent, did not.
