If you are totally unfamiliar with the Medicare process, I'd advise attending at least 2 different seminars several months prior to signing up for Medicare, so it won't seem so complex. My husband signed up first and I listened to the Specialist as he explained the process, but it was still unclear to me. Then i attended a seminar several months later, which brought more clarity to my mind. When it was my time to sign up, the same Specialist explained it to me again and I finally understood. Not only does this person do group seminars in various places, but he also does one-on- consults free of charge.Leslie, let me know if I can give his name and phone #, or if I can do a blog about my Medicare journey using his info.

Hi Pat, good to hear from you. I think a blog about your journey would be excellent - I'm looking forward to reading it! And you might want to clear sharing the specialist's info with him before you post. Sounds like a subject many people will be interested in reading.
