Friends of the Sue Kellogg Library Meeting

Friends of Sue Kellogg Library meeting, in the Lucille McCurdy Room at the library. 

The speaker will be Mark Swanson, a historian with New South Associates, Inc. of Stone Mountain, a women-owned small business providing cultural-resource management services. 

Mr. Swanson has had more than two dozen papers published in professional journals and is involved in ongoing cultural resource projects at the Savannah River Site. He is the author of "Atlas of the Civil War, Month By Month: Major Battles and Troop Movements," published by the University of Georgia Press. He specializes in Civil War Cold War and land use history.

At our meeting, we will also be discussing plans for this year's book sale. Your help will be appreciated in preparing for and staffing the event, scheduled for Friday and Saturday, May 13 and 14, from 9 a.m. t0 4 p.m.
