Date Night Pottery

Spend a Saturday evening playing in the clay!

ART Station in Stone Mountain Village is pleased to announce the continuation of the popular “Date Night Pottery” from7:00 – 9:00 p.m. on select Saturdays.  Classes are scheduled for the following dates through January, 2012:  April 9th, 16th & 23rd, May 14th, 21st & 28th, June 11th, 18th & 25th, July 9th, 16th & 23rd, August 6th, 13th & 27th, September 10th, 17th & 24th, October 8th, 15th & 22nd, November 5th, 19th & 26th, December 3rd & 17th, January 14th & 28th

This class gives students an introduction of pottery techniques in a fun social environment.  Students try hand-building while enjoying a glass of wine, some cheese and a little music.  Special Events and Projects Coordinator, Nancy Knight says, “The great thing about Date Night Pottery is that students can register one time or every time.  It breaks down the classroom environment and gives adults a fun excuse to play in the clay.”  The class size is limited to 10 students, so spaces fill quickly.  The evening begins with a wine and cheese reception in the ART Station trolley barn.  Students then get a quick gallery tour and then move to the pottery studio for a few pottery tips and then off to play in the clay!  Got a group of ten friends or family members?  Just give ART Station a call to arrange a private pottery party for your group.
