Arabia H.S. Kids Get Nature Internships

Several students from the Lithonia school were interns in the program Leaders in Environmental Action for the Future.

A group of Arabia Mountain High School students were part of a program that gave them first-hand experience working in nature

The Champion Newspaper reports that the kids from the Lithonia school were among the interns in a Nature Conservancy effort called 2013 Leaders in Environmental Action for the Future, or LEAF.

The month-long program had the students working on projects in various environments, such as forest areas and barrier islands, the article reported.
