Rockbridge Place Shopping Center Sold to Private Equity Group

The shopping center is 95 percent leased, according to the commercial real estate service provider that brokered the deal.

Commercial real estate services provider Cassidy Turley announced Monday that Rockbridge Place Shopping Center, a nearly 75,000 square foot development anchored by Food Depot and CVS, has been sold to private equity group BDB Capital.

The development, at 5719 Rockbridge Rd. in Stone Mountain, was sold for about $6 million, sources tell Patch.

Washington, D.C.-based Cassidy Turley, which has an Atlanta office, represented seller DLC Management Corp. in the deal, which closed Dec. 21.

The buyer was represented by Jeff Schaffer of Schaffer & Associates, according to the release, which also states that Rockbridge Place is 95 percent leased.

“We were excited to represent DLC Management in this transaction,” said Joines, Vice President of Cassidy Turley’s brokerage group, in the release. “The buyer acquired a strong performing center in a relatively dense area of metro Atlanta.”
