Two Days Left to Register for DeKalb County Summer Camp

The Redan Recreation Center of the DeKalb County Parks and Recreation is currently accepting registrations  for its annual Camp Superstars summer day camp program. 

Camp Superstars is a summer day camp program for ages 5-15.  Camp sessions are held Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.  Camp starts May 31 and continues to July 29.  The cost is $55 per week, and breakfast and lunch are provided. 

The camp offers a variety of activities, including field trips, swim lessons, arts and crafts, team games, and more, according to a DeKalb County press release. Camp Superstars also offers Inclusion Camp which is specifically designed for children ages 5-18 who have mild to moderate disabilities.

Registrants may submit applications at their local recreation center throughout the month of May.  Applications for camp can also be turned in at the Exchange Recreation Center located at 2771 Columbia Drive in Decatur. 

Registration will take place Wednesday, May 18 from 4-8 p.m. and Saturday, May 21 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m.  Camp applications are available online at www.dekalbcountyga.gov/parks.
