A news outlet spoke with Watson and cited a police report regarding the July 12 incident at a Glenwood Road bar.

DeKalb Super District 7 Commissioner Stan Watson has apologized for a July 12 incident at a Glenwood Road bar, an article on AJC.com said, quoting Watson and citing information from a police report.

According to the AJC Watson reportedly was intoxicated and got upset with a woman who he claims stole his wallet.

Watson told the news outlet that he went to the bar because he was upset about the recent death of his sister. A DeKalb officer was working security at the bar at the time and wrote the incident report, the AJC said.
