Rep. Johnson Responds to the President’s Remarks on Syria
Local reaction on President Obama's Syrian position.
Rep. Hank Johnson (GA-04) released the following statement after President Obama’s remarks on Syria:
LITHONIA, GA – “I don’t believe the President needs Congressional approval to conduct limited strikes in Syria, however I respect his decision to seek authorization. At this time, I am deeply skeptical that use of force is in our national interest.”
