The city council of Lithonia had its regular work session Monday, Jan. 7 and voted on the following agenda items:
1. Election of Mayor Pro Tempore.
Action: councilman William Ric Dodd was approved as Mayor Pro Tem (3 in favor; 1 abstained -- the now former Mayor Pro Tem Pat Miller -- Tracy Ann Williams, opposed).
2. Resolution No. 13-01-01 to allow for appropriate levels of spending pending adoption of budget for Fiscal Year 2013.
Action: Approved.
3. Approval of Intergovernmental Agreement with DeKalb County for the Allocation and Distribution of Proceeds from the Energy Excise Tax.
Action: Approved.
