Meeting Notes: Downtown Development Authority Board Member Appointed in Stone Mountain City

At Tuesday's regular meeting, the city council also rescheduled dates for January meetings.

The Stone Mountain city council voted on the following items at its regular meeting on Tuesday (Dec. 4):

New Business

1. Intergovernmental agreement between the city of Stone Mountain and DeKalb County - allocation and distribution of proceeds from the energy excise tax.

Action: approved.

2. Downtown Development Authority board member appointment - Mary Beth Reed.

Action: approved (mayor pro tem Chakira Johnson Sallee abstained).

3. Set date for the January 2013 regular city council meeting - conflict with the New Year's Day holiday.

Action: approved. The rescheduled meeting date will be Tuesday, Jan. 8.

4. Set Date for the January 2013 work session - conflict with the MLK holiday.

Action: Approved. The rescheduled meeting date will be Tuesday, Jan. 22.

New ordinances and resolutions

Resolution 2012-15- Amend the general fund budget- employee Christmas luncheon. Action: Approved.
