Meeting Notes: Dog Park Closes Temporarily; Sunday Alcohol Sales Start Dec. 11

City of Stone Mountain moves to close dog park until further notice after hearing residents' complaints last month.

The Stone Mountain City Council on Tuesday unanimously voted to temporarily close the dog park at Poole and Third streets.

The "closed" signs are due to go up today.

The move comes after council members during last month's work session heard some city residents who live near the dog park share problems such as noise, parking, pet owners and their dogs walking on private property.
