Stan Watson Legislative Breakfast

Stan Watson, Super District 7 Commissioner will host the monthly Stan Watson Legislative Breakfast on Saturday, May 7, 2011. We anticipate 150 to 200 attendees. The Legislative Breakfast is from 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. at Chapel Hill Middle School. The address is 3535 Dogwood Farms Road, Decatur, Georgia 30034. There is no cost to attend, and registration is not required.

May is Senior Citizen Appreciation/Older Americans Month and in recognition of the many matriarchs and patriarchs who have founded and framed our wonderful county, Commissioner Watson is pleased to dedicate this month’s breakfast to honor them. Presentations will include information on how and why to have a will, everything that you wanted to know about reverse mortgages but didn’t know who to ask, and identifying, preventing, and providing resources to protect our seniors from elder abuse. We will also have special entertainment from the Lou Walker Center Senior Choir and breakfast music provided by My Praise Inspiration 102.5.

“Providing an opportunity for citizens to either talk to or hear from those who they elected, about issues that affect them is important to me and my constituents”, says Commissioner Watson.“It is our
