Cell Tower, Sunday Alcohol Sales Times on City Council Agenda Tonight

The Stone Mountain City Council has its regular business meeting tonight at 7:30 at the courthouse.

Items on the agenda include:

New Business

• Application for a beer/wine license, consumption on the premises, Sweet Potato Cafe, 5377 Manor Drive. Karen Patton, owner/applican.
• Proposal for cell tower development at McCurdy Park. Ground lease agreement with options. Agreement between Municipal Communications, LLC and the City of Stone Mountain.
• Donation of two sidewalk benches to the Stone Mountain Historic Society
• Change order for site investigation activities at 968 Main Street – Underground Storage Tank Clean-Up - $6,675.00.

New Ordinances and Resolutions

• Resolution 2011-20 – Set fees and penalties for the collection of solid waste
• Ordinance 2011-12 - Amend Chapter 3–Alcoholic Beverages, Article III–Beer and Wine, Section 3-9(a), Times for Sale
• Ordinance 2011-13 - Amend Chapter 2, Article VI, Section 2-142–2012- fiscal year budget
• Ordinance 2011-14 – Amend Chapter 19, Article I, Parks and Recreation – Adding a New Sub-Section 19-1.1 – Dog Park Rules and Regulations.
