Woman Pushed Out of Moving Vehicle

Victim landed on her head, according to reports.

A woman told police she was shoved out the door of a pickup truck by a man named Tony while the vehicle was in motion.

The incident happened on Wednesday, July 10 at the intersection of Idlewood Road and East Ponce De Leon Avenue in Tucker, at approximately 11:51 p.m. Brittney Williams, 26, of Lithonia, sustained injuries to the right side of her head, according to responding officers.

"The victim advised while en route to her grandmother's house being transported by the suspect, he opened the passenger side door while operating the vehicle, pushing her to the ground," the police report stated.

Williams made her way to the Stone Mountain Inn on Mountain Industrial Boulevard where she was able to call 911. She was taken to Atlanta Medical Hospital where she was treated for her injuries.
