City Police Chief: Two 'Pants Hanging' Citations in March

City of Stone Mountain police chief gives monthly police activity report at Tuesday work session.

Two citations were issued last month for "pants hanging," Stone Mountain city police chief Chancey Troutman reported to the city council during its work session Tuesday night.

There were three drug arrests (less than an ounce of marijuana) and two DUIs last month. In one case, a woman got stuck on the railroad tracks, gunned her gas and went over a ditch, Troutman said. An officer who came on the scene smelled alcohol on her and made an arrest.

There were 39 total calls for domestic violence incidents in March, he said.Β
