Train Ride Lands Lithonia Man in Jail

The Savannah Morning News reports that the man boarded the train with his beer and snacks in DeKalb but ended up in Effingham County, where he was arrested.

According to the report, Randy Gaultney, 47, had purchased beer and other goods near his Lithonia home and was on his way back, but the train was in his way.

He put the groceries on the train, then tried to hoist himself up when the train took off "at a high rate of speed" Effingham County authorities, who received a call about the incident just before midnight on Christmas Eve, say in the Savannah Morning News article.
